Sheet Metal Fabrication

Sheet metal fabrication is one of the most reliable manufacturing processes, used across industries for its strength, precision, and versatility. The right surface finish can enhance protection, reduce wear, and improve visual appeal.

Finishes & Material Compatibility:

1. Powder Coating

(Available for Aluminum, Mild Steel (MS), and Stainless Steel (SS))

A dry powder coating is electrostatically applied and cured under heat to form a protective layer. It provides excellent durability, corrosion resistance, and a variety of textures and finishes, including:

  • Structured – A textured finish offering improved grip and wear resistance.
  • Textured – Slightly grainy for enhanced grip and reduced visibility of imperfections.
  • Glossy – A smooth, high-shine coating for a sleek and polished look.
  • Matte – A non-reflective finish that hides fingerprints and scratches.

2. Anodizing 

(Available for Aluminum)

Anodizing is an electrochemical process that creates a durable oxide layer on aluminum, enhancing its corrosion resistance and hardness.

  • Brushed – Linear textured finish achieved by abrasive brushing before anodizing.
  • Bead Blasted – A smooth, matte texture created by high-pressure glass bead blasting.
  • Hardcoat – An extra-thick anodized layer for high wear and corrosion resistance.

3. Black Oxidizing 

(Available for Mild Steel (MS))

A chemical process that creates a thin black oxide layer on steel to improve corrosion resistance and reduce glare while maintaining dimensional accuracy.

4. Chromatizing 

(Available for Aluminum)

Chromatizing, also called chemical conversion coating, enhances corrosion resistance and paint adhesion. It forms a thin, protective chromium oxide layer without significantly altering the metal’s dimensions.
